Continental Express has recently opened its ninth location nationwide with a new terminal in Illinois, further expanding its reach and capacity in the area. The addition of this terminal, equipped with office and shop space and the ability to house 100 tractors and trailers, reflects the company's commitment to servicing its growing customer base in the region. Vice President Bradley Gottemoeller emphasized that by prioritizing safety, service, and communication, the company can seize opportunities for continued expansion, even amidst challenging times in the freight industry.
Continental's strategic growth in recent years, with the establishment of terminals in Indiana, Ohio, and Virginia, has been attributed to strong customer partnerships and a dedication to exceptional customer service. Grant Mitchell, the director of customer relations, commended the company's employees for their steadfast focus on delivering high-quality service, which has fueled growth despite ongoing freight challenges. This latest terminal in Illinois is expected to support the implementation of three new dedicated accounts, enhancing efficiency, reliability, and value for customers.
