Florida Officials Celebrate Ice Cream Hub Groundbreaking

Florida officials recently celebrated the groundbreaking of an $8 million ice cream distribution hub in Milton, close to Interstate 10. This collaborative effort involves Damian’s Enterprises Inc. and ATL Cold Storage and is expected to create 30 jobs in Santa Rosa County. The facility will be situated within the Northwest Florida Industrial Park, conveniently located near major highways and the Port of Pensacola. Santa Rosa County officials highlighted the project’s potential to stimulate local economic growth, emphasizing its advantageous location for distribution to larger cities like Houston, Nashville, and Miami. Joseph Manning, president of Damian’s Enterprises, expressed excitement about the new facility, viewing it as an important step in enhancing their operational capacity and commitment to product quality.
