Ringbrothers has unveiled their latest custom vehicle, named "Tuka," which reimagines the Chevrolet K5 Blazer with significant enhancements. The vehicle features a lifted body with a two-inch increase in height, incorporating modern design elements such as a rear window from a Jeep Wrangler and a panoramic roof from a new Chevrolet Blazer. The build sits on the chassis of a third-generation Toyota Tacoma and boasts aesthetic upgrades, including custom 18-inch bronze alloy wheels and a sleek 'Galactic Black' paint job. Under the hood, Tuka houses a powerful 6.2-liter GM V8 engine producing 532 horsepower, coupled with a high-performance exhaust system. The suspension has also been upgraded with advanced shocks, control arms, and six-piston brakes, allowing for impressive on- and off-road capabilities. The interior is bespoke, featuring custom instrumentation and elements made through advanced manufacturing techniques like 3D printing. Jim Ring, co-owner of Ringbrothers, emphasized that Tuka reflects a combination of traditional K5 features and modern functionalities, aiming to create a versatile vehicle suited for daily use as well as off-road adventures.
