Diesel Price Increases 4.4¢ in Third Consecutive Climb

The national average diesel price has seen a significant increase, rising by 4.4 cents to $3.813 per gallon, marking the third consecutive week of price jumps. This recent surge has led to a total increase of 15.5 cents per gallon since the week of June 17th. Compared to the same time last year, diesel prices are now 4.6 cents higher on average. All 10 regions surveyed by the Energy Information Administration have experienced a rise in diesel prices, with the Midwest witnessing the largest increase at 6.7 cents, while California saw the smallest bump of two-tenths of a cent.
