The pushboat design developed by Robert Allan Ltd. in conjunction with Indústria Naval Catarinense Ltda. is specifically tailored to meet the unique demands of Brazilian bunkering operations. The vessels are being designed to provide maneuverability, control, and operational reliability in a challenging environment, with limited space for error.

Designed from the ground up, the RApide 1800 pushboat features a unique combination of propulsion and maneuverability systems. The Z-drive thrusters provide optimal control during barge handling operations, while the diesel generator sets ensure reliable power for onboard systems.

The vessel's dimensions are carefully optimized to meet the requirements of Brazilian Flag Administration regulations for inland navigation. The RApide 1800 pushboat is designed to navigate narrow waterways and port environments with ease, making it an ideal solution for bunkering support operations.

The propulsion system of the RApide 1800 pushboat is powered by two high-speed marine diesel engines, each rated at approximately 450 kW. This powerful engine combination enables the vessel to efficiently handle barge operations in a variety of conditions.

Electrical power is supplied by two diesel generator sets, providing redundancy and ensuring reliable operation for all onboard systems. The fire monitor system, with a capacity of 200 m3/hr, ensures the safety of personnel and equipment on board.

The internal arrangement of the RApide 1800 pushboat provides ample accommodation spaces and operational facilities suited for up to 10 personnel. This will enable Transpetro's crew to efficiently perform their duties while ensuring the safe operation of the vessel.
