Kuhn Farm Machinery is gearing up to showcase its latest product launches at the upcoming Scotgrass 2026 event, set to take place on May 13th, 2026. The company will be demonstrating some of its most recent innovations, including the GMD 15030 14.5m mounted mower, new generation MergeMaxx 952, and updated VBP 7160 OC 14 combination round baler wrapper. These machines are designed to provide farmers with increased efficiency, productivity, and precision in their forage harvesting operations.

The GMD 15030 is the widest mounted mower on the market, featuring a patented 180-degree gearbox design that allows each pair of beds to fold without breaking the driveline. This enables the machine to capture 14.5m of grass in one pass, resulting in significant output per day and improved crop quality.

The GMD 15030 will be a popular machine at Scotgrass 2026, according to Sam Alford, grassland product specialist. The machine's ability to handle lighter crops or multi-cut systems makes it an attractive option for farmers looking to optimize their harvesting operations.

Kuhn's latest innovations are designed to meet the evolving needs of modern farming. With features such as OPTI-Disc Elite, Lift-Control, and Fast-Fit knives available on the GMD 15030, farmers can expect increased efficiency and reduced maintenance costs.

The new generation MergeMaxx 952 model boasts significant design changes and strengthening of the pickup units and running gear for improved longevity and reliability. Modifications to the conveyor belt design will help reduce impurities and maintain reliability when handling a wide range of forage types.

Kuhn's VBP 7160 OC 14 combination round baler wrapper will also be on display at Scotgrass 2026, featuring a redesigned bale weighing system integrated into the wrapping table. This allows for greater accuracy in measuring bales between 100-1500kg precisely.

The addition of the weigher on the table means only the bale is weighed and not the whole machine, providing a more accurate measurement. Slope compensation is included for greater precision, with various Task Controller options for integration with farm management systems.

Visitors to Scotgrass 2026 will have the opportunity to see these machines in action, with Kuhn's UK and European technical experts on hand to discuss requirements and provide guidance. The practical demonstrations will allow farmers to experience firsthand how these innovative machines can enhance their forage harvesting operations.

The event promises to be an exciting showcase of the latest innovations in farm machinery, providing a platform for farmers to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and network with s.
