Motorcycle Riding Gets a Major Overhaul with Cardo Ride

Cardo Systems has launched its revamped motorcycle riding app, Cardo Ride, which replaces the Riser Powered by Cardo platform acquired in 2023. The new app seamlessly integrates existing features from Riser, including ride tracking, route planning, and sharing trips with fellow riders. This move marks a significant overhaul of the motorcycling experience, as users can now enjoy a more streamlined and connected ride. With the launch of Cardo Ride, the company aims to further enhance its headsets by tying them closely to the riding experience.

The new app boasts several key features, including reWind, which allows riders to share quick recaps of their finished rides on a 3D map. Additionally, an updated newsfeed showcases rides, posts, and updates from other riders, providing a social hub for motorcyclists. Furthermore, a new group feature enables users to swap routes and trade tips with fellow Cardo enthusiasts.

Cardo Ride is free to download on both Apple App Store and Google Play, offering users a convenient and accessible way to enhance their riding experience. However, the full feature set can only be unlocked through the paid tier, Cardo Ride Pro. New users can start a free trial of Pro through the app, providing an opportunity for riders to test the premium features before committing.

The thousands of existing rider groups on Riser will be preserved in the new app, ensuring that users do not have to start over from scratch. This thoughtful move demonstrates Cardo Systems' commitment to user experience and community building. By preserving these groups, the company aims to foster a sense of belonging among motorcyclists.

The integration of Cardo Ride with Cardo Connect is another notable aspect of this update. Riders can now seamlessly jump between ride data and device settings without having to sign in twice, providing a more streamlined user experience. This integration highlights the company's focus on creating a cohesive ecosystem for motorcyclists.

Cardo Systems' CEO Alon Lumbroso emphasizes that the move is meant to further tie Cardo's headsets to the riding experience. By linking every ride, story, and new route, the company aims to create a more immersive and connected experience for riders. This strategic move positions Cardo Ride as a key player in the motorcycling community.

The launch of Cardo Ride marks a significant milestone in the evolution of motorcycle riding apps. By offering a more streamlined and connected experience, Cardo Systems aims to revolutionize the way motorcyclists ride and interact with each other.

With its user-friendly interface, robust feature set, and commitment to community building, Cardo Ride is poised to become a leading player in the motorcycling app market.
