Motorcycle Intercom System Takes a Leap Forward

The latest addition to the market is the Cardo HJC 4X, an upgraded version of the entry-level HJC Spirit helmet intercom system. This new unit builds upon the success of its predecessor by offering improved connectivity features and enhanced audio quality.

One of the key upgrades in the 4X is its group connectivity, which allows riders to connect up to four riders simultaneously. In contrast, the Spirit can only pair two riders at a time. The range for this feature is approximately 0.75 miles unit-to-unit and up to 2.2 miles in ideal conditions.

The Cardo HJC 4X features Bluetooth 5.2 technology, which provides stable connections and long battery life. With an MSRP of $300, the 4X offers a more premium experience compared to its predecessor at a slightly higher price point.
