Crutchlow to Stay with LCR Honda for Two MotoGP Rounds

Cal Crutchlow has been confirmed by LCR Honda as Johann Zarco’s replacement for two upcoming MotoGP rounds at Brno and Assen. This means Crutchlow will have replaced Zarco for a total of four rounds, after making his return to the sport at Mugello last month.

Crutchlow made his MotoGP return after Zarco suffered a heavy crash at the Catalunya Grand Prix in May, which took place from 15-17 May. The Italian MotoGP was Crutchlow’s first appearance in the world championship since the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi.

After replacing Zarco in Mugello, the British rider then made back-to-back appearances at last weekend’s Hungarian GP at Balaton Park. Crutchlow finished the race in 16th place and described it as one of the toughest races he had ever been part of.
