N-Sea Group has entered into a long-term charter agreement with Rederij Groen for the newbuild offshore support vessel Dominus, which is being constructed by PASSER at Shipyard De Hoop in Tolkamer, the Netherlands. The company aims to strengthen its fleet and expand its capabilities in the North Sea region. This move is part of N-Sea's strategic efforts to enhance its position as a leader in integrated subsea and survey solutions. The new vessel will support geophysical and subsea activities, including 2D and 3D seismic surveys and wide swath unexploded ordnance (UXO) surveys.

Construction of the vessel is underway following a keel-laying ceremony held in February. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for April 2027, marking an important milestone in N-Sea's fleet expansion strategy. The company has been actively investing in its fleet to meet the growing demands of the offshore energy sector. With this new addition, N-Sea will be well-equipped to handle increasingly complex offshore projects.

The Dominus vessel will measure approximately 69.85 meters in length with a beam of 15.77 meters and a draught of 4.5 meters, making it an ideal platform for operations in the North Sea. Its spacious deck layout, lifting capacity, and midship moonpool will support expanded geotechnical and site investigation capabilities for N-Sea.

The addition of this new vessel will undoubtedly benefit from N-Sea's expertise and experience.

N-Sea expects to take delivery of two more vessels, the survey vessel Geo Master in April 2026 and the cable installation and repair vessel Altera in June 2026. These deliveries will further solidify the company's position as a major player in the offshore energy sector, providing it with a robust fleet to tackle complex projects.

The construction of Dominus marks an important milestone in N-Sea's ambition to reinforce its leadership in integrated subsea and survey solutions. This vessel will allow the company to broaden its geophysical and geotechnical capabilities, enabling it to execute increasingly complex offshore projects with confidence. The partnership between N-Sea and Rederij Groen demonstrates the company's commitment to collaboration and innovation.
