Grady-White Express 340 Boat Review

The Grady-White Express 340 is a retooled version of the company's most popular model, exceeding expectations with its serious fishability, cruising comfort, and refined aesthetic. The vessel features Grady-White's legendary SeaV² variable deadrise V-hull, delivering a soft ride in head seas and maintaining exceptional stability when trolling or at anchor.

9 mph and an impressive range exceeding 310 miles with a 10-percent reserve. The boat boasts ample space for dual 19-inch Garmin displays, a Yamaha gauge, and easy-to-reach switches, as well as improved safety features such as circuit breakers above each switch.

The Helm Master EX Full Maneuverability joystick system enables Stay Point station keeping, Fish Point, and Drift Point, making docking and maneuvering intuitive. Grady-White also redesigned the hardtop superstructure for cleaner lines, increased rigidity, and improved visibility.

The cockpit maximizes fishability through intelligent design, featuring port and starboard boarding gunwale doors, a 166-quart aft fish box with optional digital refrigeration, and ample rod holders. Below deck, the galley features a Dekton countertop, stainless-steel sink, glass-top stove, and microwave, while the electrically adjustable table and forward berth cushion rise for dining or drop flush with the wraparound seating to complete a double berth.

The aft berth has been dramatically improved, and the redesigned head compartment is equally inviting. With its mechanical accessibility and styling that turns heads at every marina, the Express 340 proves that a boat can be hard-core fishable while pampering its crew with cruising amenities.
