The motorcoach industry has seen significant growth in recent years, with companies like Prevost at the forefront of this trend. As a member of the Volvo Group and North America's leading motorcoach manufacturer, Prevost is committed to meeting the evolving needs of its customers. The company's latest expansion is a testament to its dedication to providing premium services and support to its clients. By increasing capacity and efficiency at its Goodlettsville, Tennessee service center, Prevost aims to enhance the overall customer experience and reduce downtime for its coach and entertainer fleets.

The expansion includes a new collision center with 32 additional parking spaces, along with a significant increase in service capacity. This investment is expected to result in faster turnaround times for customers, allowing them to get back on the road quickly and efficiently. With the addition of 19 new service bays, Prevost is able to accommodate more vehicles at once, making it easier for customers to schedule maintenance and repairs.

According to Branch Manager Mike Miguel, who has led both branch operations and the expansion project, the goal was to meet customer expectations while maintaining the high standards of a premium brand. The new service bays are now fully operational, allowing Prevost to provide even faster turnaround times for its customers.

The Goodlettsville service center expansion is part of Prevost's broader growth strategy for 2026, as outlined by Vice President of Commercial Operations Kevin Dawson. By strategically aligning its service centers and mobile service vans with demand patterns, Prevost aims to maximize uptime for its customers' coaches and reduce downtime.

In addition to the Goodlettsville expansion, Prevost is relocating its Franklin Park, Illinois facility to Elk Grove, Illinois in June. This move is expected to bring new opportunities for the company and allow it to better serve its customers in the region.

Prevost is also adding a mobile service unit in Las Vegas, which will enable the company to provide on-the-road support to its customers in this key market. With this investment, Prevost is further demonstrating its commitment to providing excellent customer service and support.

The company's plans for 2026 include groundbreaking for a new facility in Randleman, North Carolina, with an anticipated opening in early 2027. This expansion will bring significant growth opportunities for Prevost and enable the company to continue meeting the evolving needs of its customers.

Overall, Prevost's service center expansion is a positive development for the motorcoach industry as a whole. By investing in its facilities and services, Prevost is able to provide better support to its customers and reduce downtime for its coaches and entertainers.

The company's focus on customer satisfaction and service quality will likely have a ripple effect throughout the industry, with other manufacturers and service providers taking note of Prevost's efforts. As the motorcoach industry continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how this trend plays out in the coming years.

Prevost's expansion is also a testament to the company's commitment to its employees and the local community. By investing in new facilities and services, Prevost is creating jobs and stimulating economic growth in the areas where it operates.
