Brookes Joins Uggly&Co Racing Team at 2026 North West 200

Australian motorcycle racer Josh Brookes is set to take on the 2026 North West 200 with the all-new Uggly&Co racing team, where he will ride a Suzuki GSX-R750 in both supersport races. The project is being led by none other than Carl Cox, who has overseen various racing projects over the years.

Cox's involvement in the project adds to his reputation as a supporter of up-and-coming riders and independent teams.

Brookes on the other hand is a two-time BSB champion, once with Yamaha and once with Ducati. The Australian recently confirmed his Isle of Man TT plans for 2026, but up first will be the North West 200 with the new Uggly&Co project.

The Suzuki GSX-R750 that Brookes will ride has proven itself in various racing series, making it an attractive choice for the North West 200.

Carl Cox expressed his excitement about the new partnership, stating that it's 'the perfect racing collab!' and that he's 'glued to' the North West event wherever he is in the world.

Cox's support for riders has been well-documented, and Uggly&Co's independent team approach will likely appeal to Brookes, who has had success with similar outfits in the past.

Brookes is looking forward to the challenge of racing with Uggly&Co and Carl Cox, citing their support as a key factor in his decision to join the project.

The North West 200 takes place from May 6-9, and Brookes will also compete in the superbike class with a DAO Racing Honda.

This partnership brings together two experienced names in the racing world, and fans can expect an exciting display of speed and skill at the North West 200.

With Uggly&Co's involvement, the event is likely to gain even more attention from racing enthusiasts around the world.
