Caterham has announced a series of visual and interior updates for the iconic Seven, while retaining the same prices across the lineup. The 2026 model year updates focus on keeping the Seven fresh, while improving its standard equipment. On the outside, the “Clear Lens Pack” makes the round headlights look more modern, while the headlight casing and the roll bar gain a body-colored finish (instead of black).
Furthermore, Caterham has expanded the color palette with eight new paint finishes. Options include the standard Poppy Red and Blacksmith shades, the premium Earl Grade, and the exclusive Sunset Riot, Heritage Sage, Chainmail Silver, Viola Parsifae, and Ice Forest Green. The latter was first shown on the fully electric Project V .
The interior has been enhanced with a new pair of leather seats for the S-pack trim (optional for the R-pack) featuring Seven embroidery on the backrest. Both the S- and R-pack models come standard with a black leather tunnel top. Finally, there are a few no-cost options, including the sportier 620 nosecone that can be fitted to all Seven variants, along with amber indicators, black or chrome headlight casings, and back roll bars.
0-liter Ford Duratec engine in naturally aspirated and supercharged forms. Outputs range from 84 hp to as much as 310 hp. As Caterham continues to evolve its iconic Seven, it's clear that the company is preparing for a shift towards electric powertrains, with the fully electric Project V slowly moving towards production and set to become available in the US market.
Caterham's decision to retain prices across the lineup suggests that the company is prioritizing accessibility over electrification costs. This strategy could help maintain the Seven's competitive edge as it transitions to electric powertrains.
