Qatar Airways is set to launch three new routes in the coming months, adding four destinations to its global route network. The airline's hub in Doha Hamad International Airport will connect with Caracas Airport in Venezuela via Bogotá Airport in Colombia. This new service will see the airline's hub connect with São Paulo, Brazil, which is the airline's existing gateway in South America.
The carrier is set to operate this route on a twice-weekly basis, with flights scheduled to operate on Wednesdays and Sundays. The flights will be operated under the same flight code, with all three legs of the flights operating simultaneously.
It is worth noting that the airline does not have traffic rights for its short flight between Bogotá and Caracas, which means it will not be competing against operators such as Avianca, LATAM Airlines, or Wingo on this route. The airline has already published that it is scheduled to operate this triangular service using Starlink-equipped Boeing 777-200LR aircraft.

Qatar Airways is also resuming flights to Tokyo Haneda Airport, which the carrier last served in 2023. The service will initially be operated four times weekly and progress to becoming a daily service from August 1.
The airline's services to Haneda will complement its existing flights to Tokyo Narita Airport, with up to two departures on most days.
This expansion of Qatar Airways' long-haul network is a significant development for the airline and the aviation industry as a whole. The addition of new routes and destinations will provide more options for passengers and increase competition in the market.

The launch of these new routes marks an exciting time for Qatar Airways, which has been expanding its network in recent years. The airline's commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction is evident in its use of Starlink-equipped aircraft and QSuite business class product.
As the aviation industry continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how Qatar Airways' new routes impact passenger demand and air travel patterns.
The expansion of Qatar Airways' global network is expected to have a positive impact on the airline's reputation and competitiveness in the market.
