Zero Motorcycles has unveiled the new Lompico Concept, giving us an early look at the tech, software and design direction that will shape the brand’s next generation of bikes. The bike itself looks like a compact urban naked sitting somewhere between a 400cc and 500cc machine in terms of size and performance.
At the heart of the Lompico is Zero’s new Cypher 4 operating system, which brings smarter connectivity, predictive diagnostics and deeper customisation to its future bikes. Riders will be able to monitor charging, tweak riding modes and manage bike data through a redesigned onboard display and the obligatory companion app.
The concept uses an 8.8kWh battery paired with a claimed 30kW (around 40bhp) motor, putting it firmly into A2-friendly middleweight territory. This configuration allows for a balance between performance and practicality.

Zero also says the bike can be configured to charge from 0-80 per cent in under an hour, which remains one of the biggest battlegrounds for electric motorcycles trying to win over lifelong petrol-bike riders.
Visually, the Lompico feels like a shift away from the more utilitarian styling Zero has traditionally leaned on. The angular bodywork, floating tail section and aggressive LED lighting signature make it look far more like a futuristic concept bike than some of the company’s previous production models – which for the most part have echoed the styling and design of rival petrol-powered bikes.
According to Zero CEO Pierre-Martin Bos, the bike is intended to push the envelope on innovation while encouraging riders to rethink what an electric motorcycle can be. This approach aligns with the brand's goal of making electric motorcycles more accessible and appealing to a wider audience.

The Lompico is part of Zero’s “All-Access” initiative, which aims to offer smaller, more affordable electric motorcycles rather than only focusing on premium flagship models. This strategy could help increase mainstream adoption and reduce the price barrier for new riders.
This move comes at a time when the electric motorcycle sector continues to face challenges related to high prices and limited mainstream uptake. By expanding its product line and targeting a broader customer base, Zero is well-positioned to capitalize on growing demand for sustainable transportation options.
This concept showcases Zero's commitment to innovation and customer-centric approach.
