The inaugural RV technician course at EPIC Campus is concluding on a high note, according to a report by the RV Technical Institute (RVTI). Six attendees graduated from the course with their Level 1 RVTI certifications. Although the EPIC Campus has completed a summer training course, this marks the conclusion of their inaugural semester-long program.
Last year, the RV Technical Institute and Littleton Public Schools launched the first high school RV technician certification program at the district’s state-of-the-art EPIC Campus, a career and technical education center that allows students to gain hands-on experience in high-demand fields like aerospace, construction, and business through various career pathways.
The inclusion of an RV tech training course at EPIC creates new opportunities to grow the number of RV service technicians and strengthen the RV industry. By incorporating RVTI’s technician training curriculum into Littleton’s EPIC Campus, our partnership is directly addressing the industry’s need for skilled service technicians.
By providing a solid foundation in propane, electrical, plumbing, appliances, body, generator, and chassis systems, students are equipped to prepare an RV for customer delivery by verifying the operation of all components. This course also helps more students become involved in the skilled trades, paving the way for the next generation of RV technicians.
