The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) has been celebrating its 50th Anniversary year, marking a national celebration of the RV lifestyle and the strong community that continues to support it. This milestone marks a significant achievement for the organization, which has traveled across Canada with its 50th RV as part of its Anniversary RV Tour. The tour visited campgrounds, dealerships, and attended events coast to coast, meeting Canadians who share a passion for travel, adventure, and the outdoors.
Throughout the journey, CRVA focused on supporting the Care Camps Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing healing outdoor experiences for children affected by cancer and their families. To help raise funds, CRVA launched the RV The North Giveaway, offering Canadians the chance to win a $100,000 General Coach Citation Reward travel trailer.
Tickets for the giveaway were available for $25, with CRVA covering 100% of the costs and expenses associated with the campaign to ensure that all of the proceeds would be directed toward this important cause. In addition, CRVA committed to donating $1 for every paid attendee at its consumer event, the Toronto Spring Camping & RV Show, in support of the campaign.
The RV The North Giveaway has been a successful fundraising effort, with CRVA encouraging everyone who has followed this journey to consider making a donation or purchasing a final ticket before the draw. Every contribution, big or small, will help provide meaningful outdoor experiences, connection, and hope for families during some of life's most challenging moments.

The winner of the RV The North Giveaway will be revealed live on Sunday, March 1, during the Toronto Spring Camping & RV Show. CRVA will begin the live program at 2:45 p.m., featuring remarks from leadership, industry partners, and representatives from the Care Camps Foundation.
The event will also include the official draw of the winner of the RV, donated by General Coach Canada, at 3 p.m. Those unable to attend in person can watch the draw on via live broadcast.
