Thor Industries has announced a significant reorganization of its North American operations, which will see the majority of its RV OEMs grouped into two operating companies. This move is designed to strengthen competitiveness, accelerate collaboration and unlock substantial synergies across its family of leading RV brands. The reorganization is a response to the evolving market landscape, including rapid dealer consolidation, changing consumer expectations and increasing operational scale requirements.

The decentralized structure that has served Thor well for decades will now be replaced by a more unified approach, with each operating group focused on exceeding the needs and expectations of end consumers. This evolution positions Thor's teams and dealers to win - together - while maintaining the entrepreneurial spirit that has always set the company apart.

Effective immediately, Thor will organize its North American RV OEMs into two groups, with Ken Walters leading one group and Jeff Kime leading the other. Walters will lead a group that includes Jayco, Tiffin Motorhomes, and several towable brands, while Kime will lead a group that includes Thor Motor Coach, Keystone, Dutchmen, and Crossroads.

Walters' group is expected to optimize its respective motorized lineup in ways that benefit both dealers and consumers, leveraging the strengths of both Jayco and Tiffin. The combination of these two companies creates an exciting opportunity for optimization and growth.

Kime's group will bring together Thor Motor Coach, Keystone, Dutchmen, and Crossroads brands under a unified approach, sharing best practices, streamlining operations and maximizing combined strengths. This alignment is expected to drive meaningful efficiencies and unlock significant synergies that strengthen overall competitiveness.

Thor's remaining OEMs, Airstream and KZ, will continue to operate independently but will benefit from enhanced collaboration across all brands to support enterprise initiatives. The company expects to realize structural benefits over time through enhanced coordination and capability alignment.

The reorganization is expected to enhance Thor's long-term competitiveness, reinforce operational resilience across market cycles and support continued investment in product innovation, quality and customer experience. Each operating group will maintain its unique identity while leveraging the scale of the organization.

Thor's CEO, Bob Martin, is confident that the new operating model will drive value for dealers, customers and shareholders. The company is building for the next decade and beyond, ensuring its brands remain individually strong while leveraging the scale of its organization.

The reorganization is a strategic move to position Thor for long-term success in the North America RV market, European RV market and RV supply industry. With its new operating model, Thor is well-positioned to capitalize on emerging opportunities and drive growth in the years ahead.
