At this year's Tokyo Auto Salon, Daihatsu unveiled a modified version of its Mira e:S kei car that boasts a turbo engine, manual gearbox, limited-slip differential, and factory-installed roll cage. The vehicle takes a low-key approach to styling, eschewing bodykits, alloys, and Gazoo Racing badges in favor of a humble appearance.
Despite its unassuming exterior, the Mira e:S is built for performance, with a 660 cc turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 64 hp and 92 Nm of torque. The car also features a standard six-point roll cage that accommodates four passengers, as well as a five-speed manual gearbox replacing the production model's CVT.
