7 kWh battery, providing an estimated driving range of 280 miles. With charging speeds of up to 150 kW, the EV can recharge to 80% in as little as 28 minutes.

The new SUV features a revamped design inside and out, including a new six-star illuminated logo up front and an illuminated SUBARU logo at the rear. The interior boasts a standard 14-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In the US, the 2026 e-Outback will be available in three trims: Premium, Limited, and Touring, with prices starting at $39,995. Subaru is also launching its second electric SUV, the Uncharted, later this year, which will offer over 300 miles of driving range.
The Solterra model is currently on sale with discounted financing options to clear room for the new EVs.

Subaru's decision to build its first in-house electric vehicle marks a significant shift towards sustainability and innovation in the automotive industry. As the demand for eco-friendly vehicles continues to grow, it will be interesting to see how Subaru's e-Outback competes with other established players in the market.
