CAPE Holland, a leading global supplier of equipment and services to the offshore wind industry within the Venterra Group, has secured a contract with CDWE for the Fengmiao Offshore Wind Farm project in Taiwan. The agreement involves the supply of CAPE VLT-640 Tandem Vibro Lifting Tool for the pre-installation of foundation (FOU) piles and offshore substation (OSS) piles.
This decision was driven by the tool's ability to safely drive piles through challenging subsea soils with risk of pile run, setting a new standard for operational efficiency and risk reduction in Taiwan. With over 400 jacket piles installed without a single pile run, CAPE Holland continues to demonstrate its expertise in this region.
The Fengmiao Offshore Wind Farm will feature water depths ranging from 53 to 64 meters and deliver a total capacity of 500 MW once completed. The wind farm comprises 33 wind turbine generator positions equipped with 15 MW turbines.

The OSS foundation is composed of a four-legged jacket structure with post-installed skirt piles, while the FOU piles are similar in diameter and weight. This collaboration between CDWE and CAPE Holland demonstrates the value of combining local expertise with global innovation.
This contract win highlights CAPE Holland's ability to deliver innovative solutions for complex offshore wind projects. The use of the CAPE VLT-640 Tandem Vibro Lifting Tool will undoubtedly contribute to the project's success and set a new standard for operational efficiency in Taiwan.
