To celebrate America's 250th anniversary, the bowtie brand is rebooting See the USA in Your Chevrolet with a modern twist. After rolling out a dizzying array of special editions, Chevrolet is launching a series of heritage ads that pay homage to the country's beauty and historical milestones.
The first ad features a remake of the classic 'See the USA in Your Chevrolet' jingle sung by country music star Brooke Lee. The song originally debuted on The Dinah Shore Show in 1951 and was featured in various advertisements honoring the country's landscape, including airlifting an Impala onto Castle Rock in Utah for television and print ads.
In the new campaign, a 2026 Silverado ZR2 is placed on Castle Rock, with Lee singing from the tailgate before flying by. The ad showcases a range of Chevrolet models, including the Corvette, Equinox, Equinox EV, Trax, and Traverse, as they travel past iconic landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, The Gateway Arch, Mount Shasta, Redwood National Park, the Florida Keys, and Nashville, Tennessee.
Chevrolet's Chief Marketing Officer, Steve Majoros, has stated that his brand is one of few that can authentically celebrate America's historical milestones in an inspiring way.
This campaign marks a clever move by Chevrolet to tap into the nostalgia of classic American road trips while also showcasing their modern vehicles. By partnering with a country music star, they're able to reach a wider audience and create a memorable advertising experience.
