Dodge has officially discontinued the Hornet, prompting dealers to significantly reduce prices in an effort to clear remaining inventory. Some 2024 GT models are now available for under $20,000, while plug-in R/T models with mileage are being listed for less than $19,500 following substantial price cuts.

The Hornet, which debuted with a mix of Italian design and a generally positive driving experience, failed to gain traction in the market, leading to its untimely demise. As a result, dealerships are eager to sell off their stock, with discounts reaching nearly 50 percent off the original sticker price.

4 percent without the need for special incentives. Those willing to consider lightly used models can find Hornets priced under $18,000, making them a compelling option for budget-conscious buyers.

The new models, despite their reduced prices, still come with a full factory warranty, offering significant value compared to other vehicles in the same class. For example, a 2024 Hornet R/T with 13,300 miles originally priced at $46,615 is now listed at $22,452, reflecting a nearly 52 percent reduction.

3 percent. This situation presents a unique opportunity for those interested in a new or nearly new vehicle at a fraction of the original cost, especially as dealers continue to push for sales amidst the Hornet's discontinuation.
