Toyota has introduced a unique one-off hybrid sedan known as the Strawberry Crown, finished in a vibrant pink wrap. This special edition marks the 80th anniversary of Tochigi Toyota’s dealership network, located in Tochigi Prefecture, which is renowned for being Japan's leading strawberry producer.

The Toyota Crown Sedan has traditionally served various official roles in Japan, from police vehicles to taxis, but this new iteration takes on a more whimsical character. The Strawberry Crown, or Ichigo Crown in Japanese, features a bright pink exterior inspired by local strawberries.

The design includes a bold pink base with soft white gradients, making it resemble a dessert cart rather than a conventional executive sedan. The car's body is adorned with graphics representing local strawberry varieties, such as Tochiotome, Tochiaika, and Skyberry, alongside a pink castle on the hood and playful mascots like Tochimaru-kun, Ichigo-chan, and Strawberry Monster.

5-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors to deliver a total output of 234 horsepower. The unveiling of the Strawberry Crown took place during the Strawberry Kingdom Tochigi Day event, highlighting the region's cultural connection to strawberry farming.

This playful approach not only celebrates Tochigi's agricultural heritage but also showcases Toyota's creativity in vehicle design, suggesting that automakers can successfully blend functionality with fun.
