The Family RV Association is set to bring a taste of tropical fun to the state of Georgia with its upcoming 'Changes In Latitudes - RV Beach Party' International Convention. Taking place from March 18-21 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry, this event promises to be an exciting experience for all recreational vehicle owners. The convention will mark FRVA's 112th international rally, showcasing the association's commitment to providing a platform for RV enthusiasts to connect and share their passion.

The convention is open to both FRVA members and non-members, offering a unique opportunity for anyone curious about RVs and the lifestyle they represent. With a wide range of activities and exhibits, attendees can expect to learn something new, have fun, and maybe even discover a new way of life. The event's focus on community and camaraderie is sure to make it an unforgettable experience.

Patrice and Kevin McCabe, stars of the popular 'RV There Yet?' travel series on the Discovery Channel, will be in attendance throughout the week, sharing their expertise and enthusiasm with convention attendees. They'll be participating in various activities, including product showcases, seminars, and a geocaching scavenger hunt, which promises to be an exciting adventure for all involved.

The RV Expo will feature a vast array of exhibits showcasing the latest components, services, lifestyle products, tour operators, resorts, and more. Visitors can expect to see motorhomes, towable RVs, and other products on display, as well as interactive displays that allow them to get hands-on experience with various RV-related topics.

With over 100 seminars scheduled, attendees will have ample opportunities to learn about the ins and outs of RV operation, maintenance, travel, and technology. Topics will range from tire maintenance to internet access on the road, covering essential aspects of RV ownership. The FRVA Learning Zone promises to be a hub of activity, providing a platform for discussion and learning.

In addition to seminars, attendees can enjoy live entertainment that adds to the beachy vibe of the convention. Featured performers include Hotel California - The Original Eagles Tribute Band, A1A - The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show, and Kazual, an a cappella quartet. Other acts are scheduled throughout the week, ensuring there's something for everyone.

One of the highlights of the convention will be the Party In Perry event on Thursday, March 19, which invites attendees and city residents to gather at the old City Hall building in Historic Downtown Perry. The outdoor get-together will feature music by the Party Knights band, creating a fun and lively atmosphere that's sure to bring people together.

For those who wish to immerse themselves in the convention experience without an RV, purchasing a 'full passport' for $245 (two people; no overnight camping) or a one-day 'passport' for $50 per person offers a convenient solution. Daily RV Expo admission is also available at $10 per person/$25 per family of three or more, with free admission for children 12 and under or holders of an active military ID.

The event will take place at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter, which offers ample parking options. Visitors can park at the North Entrance off Larry Walker Parkway and follow the signs to Lot F before entering through the North Gate.
