The 2027 BMW 7-Series is set to receive a mild facelift rather than a complete redesign, focusing on subtle aesthetic changes. The updated model will feature taller kidney grilles with horizontal slats, moving away from the previous vertical design.

Additionally, slimmer LED daytime running lights will be positioned above the downsized main headlamps. While BMW continues to innovate with its Neue Klasse initiative, the 7-Series will maintain its classic elements, ensuring it does not stray too far from its heritage.

Spy shots from last year revealed prototypes undergoing testing, though they were heavily camouflaged. Despite this, key design details were discernible, including the familiar split-headlight layout and the iconic kidney grilles that define the luxury sedan.

New renderings from Sugar Design provide a clearer vision of the anticipated changes, showcasing a slightly taller grille and a cleaner front-end appearance. The grille's edges have been sharpened to create a more aggressive look, while the headlights will feature a unique design distinct from other Neue Klasse models.

The thin LED daytime running lights will introduce a fresh signature, positioned near the hood's shut line, with the main headlamps significantly reduced in size. This careful balance of modern updates and classic design elements reflects BMW's commitment to evolving its flagship model while respecting its legacy.
