The 2026 Audi RS e-tron GT Performance is an extraordinary piece of automotive design, boasting the best-looking EV on the market and one of the finest-looking sedans of the past decade. However, its predecessor just didn't look special enough.
The new model has been completely reengineered in just a few short years, with updates found at the front and rear, including aggressive air intakes and bespoke diffusers. The flagship version now outguns the previous RS flagship in power, thanks to a larger 97 kWh battery pack and DC charging speeds of up to 320 kW.
But is it worth the big price jump? With prices starting at AU$309,900 ($216,800), it's certainly not cheap.

The interior has also been updated, with new flat-bottom and flat-top Alcantara steering wheel and several green accents and Nappa leather options. However, much of the switchgear and lower-grade plastics come straight from less expensive Audi models, which is somewhat disappointing given the car's sky-high price tag.

But be warned, it's not for the faint of heart - this EV delivers unrelenting acceleration that will leave you breathless.

The Audi RS e-tron GT Performance is an exceptional car that perfectly showcases the rapid evolution of electric vehicles. However, its high price point and some interior design choices may deter potential buyers.
