The outdoor recreation economy in Southern Utah continues to thrive, and a new player has entered the market. Scott Nielson, a local entrepreneur with a proven track record in the RV industry, is proud to announce the launch of Glampers RV, a new dealership that aims to redefine the RV retail experience in the region.
Nielson's decision to return to the industry comes after selling his previous dealership, Nielson RV, to Camping World five years ago. The sale was part of a non-compete agreement, which has recently expired, allowing Nielson to start anew.
The new Glampers RV dealership is currently operating out of the 54-acre Nielson Commerce Complex in Hurricane, Utah, and features over 50 pre-owned units on site. New inventory is expected soon, and the office is already open for business with financing options available.

Glampers RV is committed to providing a seamless process for customers, from purchasing an RV to maintaining it through all their adventures. The dealership will offer sales, service, parts, consignment, rentals, and a selection of new and used units, as well as Nielson's popular RV Warranty Forever program.
The goal of Glampers RV is to address gaps in the current market, particularly in service turnaround times and customer care. One of Nielson's key priorities is improving the speed and efficiency of RV repairs, with features like a paint booth and collision repair capabilities.
Glampers RV aims to give customers the best experience possible, providing recreation and creating memories that will last a lifetime. The dealership's vision is built on this principle, aiming to make every customer feel valued and supported.
The new facility is being developed by Nielson Development and is strategically located near Walmart and just minutes from the former Nielson RV site. The 15-acre commercial site will serve as the flagship dealership for Glampers RV, opening later this year or in early next year.
Plans are underway to build a 425-foot flagpole that would be the tallest freestanding flagpole in North America, if approved. This massive American flag has been a promise made by Nielson to the community when the dealership closed, and he intends to keep it flying high.
The launch of Glampers RV is also rooted in a personal mission. Nielson plans to involve his seven children directly in the company, creating a family-centered operation that will teach valuable business skills and provide a unique work environment.
Glampers RV's return to the market brings new opportunities for jobs and investment to Washington County, as the outdoor recreation economy continues to grow and evolve.
