Volvo Construction Equipment (CE) has introduced its new lineup of compact excavators, including the ECR90, EC65, and EW65. These machines are designed to minimize downtime and reduce the total cost of ownership for operators.
The ECR90, EC65, and EW65 feature larger fuel tanks and extended service intervals, allowing for faster maintenance and reducing time spent on common tasks such as DPF cleaning and hydraulic return filter changes. Wide opening hoods and ground-level access to grouped service points enable safer and faster maintenance.
Standard telematics or optional advanced telematics systems further boost productivity and uptime. The excavators' connectivity platform supports the integration of upcoming service enhancements, ensuring operators stay up-to-date with the latest technology.

The compact excavators also boast a fully refreshed cab environment designed for operator comfort, safety, and productivity. A high-definition touchscreen display offers helpful functions like attachment presets, rear and side camera views, service interval settings, and Bluetooth pairing.
Volvo CE has continued its tradition of class-leading ergonomics in compact equipment with new seats featuring optional air suspension, wider adjustable armrests, and a new tiltable left-hand console for easier entry and exit. The launch of these three models demonstrates Volvo CE's ongoing commitment to compact equipment, with six new models introduced in the past year and more than 50 percent of the lineup being updated within the past two years.
The introduction of these new compact excavators showcases Volvo CE's focus on minimizing downtime and reducing costs for operators. With their advanced features and ergonomic design, these machines are poised to become a popular choice in the compact equipment market.
