Alliance RV, a leading manufacturer of towable RVs, announced the acquisition of Midwest Automotive Designs, a premium custom van upfitter that develops and manufactures luxury vehicles for end segments including motorhomes, shuttle vans and customized executive transportation vehicles. This acquisition marks Alliance RV's strategic entry into the motorized segment of the RV industry with Midwest's Class B RVs and multiple products for the luxury Limousine, Charter and Tour (LCT) bus markets, respectively.
Headquartered in Elkhart, Indiana, Midwest Automotive Designs custom builds RVs and LCT vans primarily on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. Since its inception in 2003, the company has grown to over 200 employees with combined manufacturing and office space exceeding 150,000 square feet.
The acquisition aligns with Alliance RV's strategy to broaden and strengthen its RV offering. Midwest will operate as a separate business unit within Alliance RV, with its manufacturing facilities remaining in Elkhart, Indiana.

Its 200 employees will become part of the Alliance organization and will be a key driver in Midwest's future growth. The company is excited to welcome the Midwest Automotive Designs team to the Alliance family and looks forward to applying the Alliance standard of excellence to the Midwest organization.
This acquisition marks an exciting new chapter for Alliance RV, as it expands its offerings into the motorized segment of the RV industry. With Midwest's expertise in luxury vehicle manufacturing, Alliance RV is poised to capitalize on growing demand for premium RVs and LCT vehicles.
