By leveraging its US power equipment factory in North Carolina, Honda is betting on domestic production and its brand reputation for durability to keep it ahead of the pack, technology-wise.

The mowers are built for professional-grade punishment, with power coming from a 48-volt battery system and driving five individual brushless electric motors. Pricing starts at $32,999, and may be eligible for local utility and government tax incentives.

Production is currently underway at Honda's NCM manufacturing facility in Swepsonville, using globally made parts. 2 kWh of battery capacity to offer pristine cut quality across 15 acres.

The autonomous feature allows for easy production-ready autonomy, making it a basic necessity in an industry navigating uncertainty in workforce stability, equipment investment returns, and operational cost controls.
