'In an effort to fill the many openings that our dealers and service centers have for technicians, we have developed a backdrop and table cover so we can be a part of job fairs around the state,' Kelly explained.
Kelly also highlighted the importance of building relationships with students and tech schools, citing a recent visit to the JTech School in Jacksonville as an example. 'Michele Berg and I took part in one last week at the JTech School in Jacksonville. They have a Marine/RV Training Program and it was a pleasure to meet the students, many of whom graduate in a couple of months,' he said.
By engaging with students and providing them with information about job opportunities, FRVTA hopes to inspire the next generation of technicians and help address the growing demand for skilled workers in the industry. The organization has also developed some giveaways, including screwdriver/flashlight tools and voltage meters, to keep its name top-of-mind as potential recruits seek employment.
