4, a sleek redesign and a new name that will be recognizable to many. 4 was spotted testing, giving us a sneak peek of the updates. 4 went on sale in 2021 as Volkswagen's first fully electric SUV and first dedicated EV under the 'ID' family.

4 made a comeback last year, ranking as the 10th best-selling EV in the US. 4 was VW's top-selling EV, helping the German automaker outsell Tesla for the first time since 2022. Polo.

Volkswagen's design boss, Andreas Mindt, said the brand's new design is based on three cornerstones: stability, likeability, and what he calls the 'secret sauce,' which will be showcased on every upcoming model.
